gto running gear

hey guys i heard a that the Mitsi GTO running gear drops straight into the FTO just wondering if anyone can shed light on this topic :roll:

a friend of mine who works in a jap imports place told me that he had heard that it had been done and could be done with little to no hassle

Ask him what drugs was he on when he "heard" it. :twisted: The position of the GTO running gear are at the opposite side already, & he told you it will fit will no hassle??

GTO have a 4WD system, so your floor plan have to modify big time in order to accommodate the diff since FTO is a FWD.

GTO engine are much larger then the FTO's, how on earth anyone going to fit that in without modify the firewall & the radiator bracket??

Ask him all this & see if he understand what they mean. :roll:

And please tell us which importer is this, so we know who to avoid. :lol:

Sorry just side step the GTO, What about a EVO engine and 4WD drivetrain. I can only think of is the fuel tank needs to be moved. Help spare some light on this situation.
