I am thinking about changing my 1995 FTO GPX to LPG.
Has anybody converted their fto to LPG
and if so is it worth while
how much space in the boot will it require.
and has it change the performance of the motor.
Any response to this issue would be much appreciated.
Cheers from JROM...

Re: LPG OR PETROL
1.) The tank will take up 3/4 of you boot space.
2.) The performance will be lost up to 80% (don't fall for the bullsh*t marketing of 102ron rating. It only work if you fully convert your car into a straight LPG, & thats a hell a lot of money, if anyone willing to do it.)
3.) Expect rough idle during cold start & everynow & then the car will stole due to duel fuel on a small V6 setup
4.) Injectors will require to be clean every year or replace every 2 1/2 - 3 yrs
If you want to save fuel, mind as well get a Honda Jazz or a Toyota Echo, brand new cost around the same as a cheap FTO, & use less fuel, & have better perfomance then a FTO on LPG.

Well i can tell you that LPG is so sh*t that our econovan we have for work doesnt even get flicked over to it.
If we do then we nearly flatten the battery every time we flick it over trying to start it to get the lpg running to the engine.
When the LPG is nearly empty the van stalls when ever we turn a sharp corner and being an auto means have to jam it in nutral to start it again before we get slammed by on coming traffic.
BTW Go Warnie kill those sh**house pommy batsmen
