Freak For Sale, (SOLD!)

Post by G_A_V »

I have been given a work car, which means I have to get rid of My FTO :( Ill definitly miss Her
Its a GR Manual 1995 Model, with 145,000kms. Rare Standard Midnight blue Colour and Manual Transmission !!
IIt is one of the quickest Non turbo Mitsubishi Ftos in Australia.
Modifications include Aftermarket Cams, one off !
Blue and Black Leatherette Seats, Blue and White Dials, Pod Filter and Version R Front Bumper.
This car is very quick, and the best dyno was 108.3kw @ the wheels which is close to 38 Kw @ the wheels more the a Stock GR and 18KW more the a stock GPX. This is without exhaust or intake modifications, much higher numbers are achievable ! also consider this car weighs only 1150kg
but it is the low down torque which makes this car launch ! It is quicker then any GPX and can achieve a 0-100 in less then 6 seconds.
It has been fully serviced every 5,000 kms with motul oils, by a Mitsubishi Ralliart Dealer. Also contains all the luxury features of the GPX
Rare Exterior colour (midnight blue), rare manual transmission, custom modifications make this car Unique
This car needs a home, its been sitting in my drive way with no one to drive it :(

I would like to keep it as a w/e car but its just not possible (money wise) when I go back to uni next year.
I am looking at advertising this, whats the best site for advertising cars ? carpoint, autotrader ?
I will also look at respraying the front, to make it look new again.

The two sites that i know every will check for cars are http://www.carsales.com.au& http://www.carpoint.com.au, all the other is kinda look "unprofessional"

Gosford, I was mates with one of the top mechanics there and he serviced it regulay with mitsu parts and motul oils.
They hadnt worked on too many ftos, but worked on evos, my mate there was a genius and triple checked everything. He has even done engine transplants, even from leaded engines to unleaded engines
He doesnt work there anymore unfortunitly so I cant get trade discount mitsu parts.
When I say they are a ralliart dealer I mean they are licenesed to sell and service Ralliart cars like the evo and magna

unfortunitly he doesnt work there anymore, I got mine done very cheap !
Take it to unique autosports in castle hill they have done quite a few, and get a mitsu timming belt dont cheap out, because if that belt goes your engine will follow

Yeah, and they are a little more expensive then average, but on a major service I wouldnt trust just anyone, and you can trust their work because they have done a lot of research and servicing with the 6a12 over the last couple years
