Get ready guys, and hang on to somewhere…….
While I was in Turkey for a holiday last month, I paid AUS$2.80 for regular unleaded petrol p/l.
We had a 2lt engine car and did around 3000 kms. Every time, I went to petrol station, had to pay around AUS$130-$140 to fill up the tank.
It was worth it though, scenery and history was just unbelievable. It was a great holiday.
I recommend everyone to go and see Turkey in summer months.
If you need help please pm me.
Thanks Max, now i feel better everytime i go to the pump ehehehe

FWIW when I was in China two months ago the price of unleaded was 3.50 Yuan or around 60 cents per litre!! So it's no wonder that their car sales are going through the roof...
But China also have their own oil, plus they have lots of "cheap labor products" to trade.

on my way home before, i saw petrol at $1.26 for unleaded, while some other stations were at $1.17... i filled up at $1.17 hehe... but its still damn expensive compared to last week which was $1.13... hmmm
Yeah petrol has increased markedly tonight - again! Here (Brisbane metro area) unleaded has hit an all time high of $1.18.9/L but I just managed to find some at $1.04.9/L luckily. Looks like the days of getting it under a dollar are well gone now
