does sound more like sparkers? as the if you get the belt wrong dosnt it jsut chug fuel and miss perform rather hten sudder n stuff? like the wa owner who lsot power but because it wasnt makign nosie/isseus didnt know till he dyno'ed it?
Im not sure but past experience with non aligned timing belts can cause serious damage to valves and pistons, even putting valves throught the side of your block.
it may be usefull, from what i hear and know, it could be a mixture of things together... like the timing and the sparks.... hmm... personally i'm not game enough to try and change my timing belt

hey payaya...
its hard to tell from your pics but as long as you have all of your timing marks aligned including the crank shaft pulley at TDC, you should be right...
you might want to re-check the rear bank cam pulley on the exhaust side because apparently its hard to align that one properly... i hear its pretty common to have the rear cam pulley off by one tooth
found the problem its the tranny! Its just a bad coincidence that the tranny started to stuff up same time as the timing belt change. Bascially i had it rebuilt once, they did a dodge so its stuffed again.
Bascially torque convertor is rooted, clutches burnt, last rebuilders did a dodgy patching up oil pump, putting ballbearings into cracks etc.
