yeah, its good for people that love listening to Mp3s. I personally like listening to original CDs

I'll probably stick with ACCC.
It's as close to loss-less as your going to get.

And my car has too many CD's in it already.
Having the complete collection at your finger tips goes a alooong way

I just burn all the mp3 on a DVD, beat ipod any day eheheheh

You'd have to have the ipod either shoved behind your headunit, or mounted near it with the cord hanging out.

Seems kinda silly??

Alpine have got the same thing.
Its good. You mount that little metal box somewhere hidden, and then in my case, ive run the ipod cable up into my center compartment, and made a mount point for my ipod.
the cables are long enough to run it as far as your boot if you want.
the whole point is so that you plug in the ipod, and treat it a bit like a stacker and control it through the headunit

Was thinking about running the adapter cord into the the space under the head unit. Cut a small hole in the back of the facia and the ipod could sit in there and be easily removed when necessary.

There would be the white adapter sitting in the bottom of the bay, but it would still be pretty neat. Should be similar to your setup MrFTO.

And as I'm not lucky enough to have a head unit that reads DVD's...

What model is that? I might check it out.

Sorry bro, are you asking which DVD unit i've got? If so, any DVD head unit can read DVD mp3, so just find the one you like.

For what it's worth, picked up and installed the unit over the weekend.

Control module is mounted below the head unit (ie behind the facia) and the data cord run through to the glove compartment. So it's all neat and out of sight.

Took me a bit to work out how to get the track info display working, but turned out to be some obscure menus on the head.

Sounds a treat and best of all only cost $130 from JB.

If anyone has a pioneer system and is considering this I'd give it a big two thumbs up.

did you get a bracket or something for your Ipod to stop it moving around?
