What is this white socket next to my ECU?

Here is the photo of my ECU which I took today.

Now, whats that white socket for?
Something is telling me that its not belong to a stock car.
This socket has few cables connected to it, and all those cables are in red colour with silver circles in every 2-3 cms.

Any idea what this white socket might be for guys?
I am getting pretty desparate to find out.
Is it comes with the FTOs or something added there aftermarket?

I have that exact same plug and I even have tape over it. I am assuming it's where the car taps into the matrix.
