6A12 MIVEC Lancer

Ive got a 6A12 Mivec in my lacner stock 200hp(150kw) what engine mods can i do to it to make it really shine?Im asking you guys becasue its the same engine in your FTO's.

HRD2BQT and spetz both have 6a12 CE Lancers with MIVEC... they would probably be your best source of information.

So far, I've only done I/H/E for engine breathing purposes
and a Brass BUtton Clutch ( i wont recomend for daily driving)

quick enuff for me :)

dont know about spetz though hahahahahhaah

Dude, the idea of a 6A12 in a lancer, it's cool, a nice NA sleeper.

Basically, all the basic mods that go well with any NA engine, intake & exhaust. unfortunatly with 6A12's it get a bit expensive when you try to get into hardcore modding like cams etc...

you shoulda went with the 4G63B swap from the Evo IV+, far easier to md and lighter than the V6 ;)

yeah, what really pissed me off the FTO was trying to find aftermarket parts for it. Even when u did, the gains were so minimal u were left scratching yr head on what the point of it was :?

You better start liking the rear of Lancer's... because that's all you'll see in mine and HRD2BQT's lancer's ;)

And as far as modding goes, unfortunately even the parts available for these engines, it's too hard finding accurate information on gains/drivability.

So with the mivec lancer conversions do u get the tiptronic or do u keep the lancer transmission in them ?

both spetz and mine has got the 5spd LSD box that came with the engine. *lucky*
