relocation of battery
hi guys , i know this may sound a little meticulous, but, if i relocate my battery to the boot, do i need a certification from a auto electrician, like a "engineers certificat"? just worried about insurance reasons. even thou i know i've taken even MORE precautions than an average auto elec.

I believe you don't need any certification...
There are a couple of things you need to keep in mind. Like you need to have a good earth, very good power cable. And lastly you will defenetly need a dry cell battery that doesn't release gasses and that can't spill the acid...
There was a thread on this a while ago... named "moving battery" or something like that...
My 2 cents

thanks boris. ive been combing thru the forums for ages, but none of the threads really talk about the legalities of the relocation, only cable, battery types etc.
cos im of my friends mentioned about if the auto elec screws up, its his insurance that pays the damages etc. as in my insurance pursues his insurance.
im "trying" to keep the car stock and legal, which is why havent gone for HIDs yet....YET....
just because of the insurance...
