hey... My mechanic is about to do a service on my car. Now, he was telling me that when he replaced a timing belt on a lancer GSR the tensioner, which were hydraulic began to leak (as apparently the hydraulic tensioner's are prone to that stuff, this cost $350 on the lancer, i am afraid to think of the costs involved in the FTO). Now apparently he claims that it might happen to my GPX if it has hydraulic tensioners???
What the hell is this ?!!!
Can someone give me some advice as to what this is, if this is possible, and know how to stop the leakage???
Thanks
Cohn

There was a recent post about this which you were involved in actually:

I'm not sure if it was any help though.

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.

Im about to service mine and from advice from places like Mitsu NZ and Kempy's in NZ i decided to buy the Tensioner at the same time as the belt....
price... about $170 NZ if you buy direct from Mitsu in NZ, which by the time you add a cambelt and the NZ gst is still not much more than the cambelt direct from mitsu in Sydney
