Kind soul in Brisbane area wiling to check out a car??

I've found a car I might be very interested in buying, only catch is its in Brisbane, I'm in Melbourne. Is anyone willing / able to have a look at the car for me and give it a thorough check? If possible someone experience with FTO's would be ideal.

Naturally I'll compensate you for your time (and be very grateful ).

Ideally I'd be hoping to get the car looked at sometime this week / weekend, and if all goes well I'd fly up next week some time to look at it myself.

For those following my saga - its a 1997 facelift GR I'm interested in, apart from the compliance plate & body, are there any other giveways to check the year?

Well some compliance ppl are dodgy, & didn't change the seatbelts, if they didn't, then u can check the date/yr from there. But if they did, which is a good thing, then you can only check through the body & compliance plate. If they self imported, then ask them for paper work, which will tell you the build date.

You should also post this at the QLD section, if you haven't already done so.
