Car preparations before going to the RUNS

Hi All,
As Sydney siders may have seen, GAV is trying to set up a night were the FTOs can go to Eastern Creek and have some runs
If you're interested, state your interest here or the state board.
Anyways, back to my question.
If I take my car to the runs, what can I do to give me the best possible chance to help get good times. Without doing mods =)
I have a stocky and have never been to the runs, I don't trash my baby, but I do want to know how she compares to other FTOs
Some questions I have are:
1. Is there an optimal psi the tyres should be inflated to when doing 1/4 mile?
2. Does octane boosters work? should it be added to a ful tank or half filled?
3. maybe go to the runs with 1/4 full tank so it's a bit ligther?
4. is stock air filter better than pod filter with no CAI?
5. best rev level to launch?
so I'm looking for simple tips to help get the possible time. From experienced ppl and others who has some ideas.
cheers!
