Q: Best Exhaust ?? Your opinion

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to get an exhaust for my car, but I'm not to sure on what is the best option: performance wise
I was looking at Zigen: Fireball
I'd appreciate some feedback or suggestions as I don't know a lot about what would be a good choice... (what not to get maybe or what might be good for me to consider)

BTw: my car is a 95' mivec tiptronic, no other modifications have been made apart from an apexi airfilter.

Many people who change their exhaust do so for the look or the sound, but if you genuinely are doing it for performance reasons, then I'd start with intake mods first not exhaust.

i think what ruchi might be saying is, try intake mods like
Airbox,
Intake Pipe..
Cold air induction pipe..

For exhaust, im verry happy with my Blitz Realize TT i got it second hand for 550 from www.upimports.com.au, i think they may have one more for sale

Thanks for your tips guys... Yeah I guess I should come along to one... but I seem to miss them everytime they are on...

darn it !!!!!

I guess your right with the intake kit - was looking at it before - but I'm dying to get something loud on my car...
Just considering if I should go ahead with that first...

A friend of mine had it on his manual GPX. Sounds very sporty and loud. And it's nice to look at. If you can go for it. You won't regret it. People often thought it was something like a superbike passing when it was in the Mivec range.

Is your blitz really loud?

I don't want any thing too loud....
But I would still like it bit loud.

I heard a lot of people saying Blitz is quite good but I just don't know how loud it is....
I don't want to have any headaches...
If you know what I mean.

Jono's exhaust I think is bloody nice. You just gotta hear Mivec kick in. When he drives away

It is noticably louder then the stock exhaust, but it's not too loud, and no I don't think you will get headaches. Down low in the revs, noise wise not much difference. but higher up, a bit more... deep, sexy noise!

If you open up your exhaust too much like mine, you car will become heaps raspy. Jono's is a nice conservative deep sporty exhaust...

Anyone here have a HKS super dragger exhaust? if you do, are you happy with it? do you rememember how much it set you back etc?

ive got a HKS super dragger.
Its good, not loud at normal driving, but a clear note change when mivec kicks in.

was on the car when i bought it.

My muffler is an HKS Super Drager type - it sounds pretty good, not too loud. The rest of my exhaust is standard.

I had a loud exhaust on my last car and it irritates me after a while. Thats one of the big pluses of my exhaust now, at idle and low revs its not loud and doesnt attract a lot of attention, but once mivec kicks in

I was racing a silvia the other day and he complimented me on my exhaust note

HKS Super Drager is the most common exhaust i've seen on the FTO, well of course apart from the stock one, it looks good, & just the right tone/loudness.

from what i've heard its either the HKS or the Blitz ones...
I've only seen one second hand HKS one... in melbourne
and the Blitz i got a quote for a new one - but a bit pricey...
Been looking around...
I might just get the whole thing custom
it been hard trying to find some parts for my FTO
either none left/second hand/or straight from Japan (bling bling $$)
So been holding off for a bit...
