Hey peeps

I was looking to buy these springs to lower my car from a local dealer.
I really just want to by only springs 4 now.

I was just wondering if i put in these springs will i NEED to get shocks etc as well.
The state of my stock shocks are pretty good shape.

The springs lower the car by 45mm front and 25mm rear.
Anyone with this config got a pic of their ride so i can have a look-see?

Anyway thanx in advance.......

if you've got stock shocks and you've done more than 70k i'd say replace them anyway...

sorry for the late reply.. but yeah.. umm nar just the springs.. u dont need to change the shocks.. the people at hyper-tech said that fot the fto the apexi springs are the best.. evern better then tien, and it works good with standard shocks, kirby has also got his installed now, i think its pretty good.. they lowert the back to 1 finger between tire and the car, and the front 2 fingers, and also they are pretty hard so u feel the road while u drive hehe i like it so yeah.. its not too low either but low enough

hi
im just wandering the height of a standard fto is 15cm from the lowest

and i now have a veilside front bar so my height is roughly 13cms

so if i lowerd my car with apex spring does that mean i will be under the height limit?

do i need to get a custom set of spring? or is there a brand that i could use?

...and then you sit in the car and it drops by???

Remember the legal limit is in its driven state (passengers, luggage etc.)

Mite be worth getting a mech/suspensionplace to check that out, paladin

andie: hypertech is where im planning 2 buy the springs from.
Spoke to arnold there already. Its nota big suprise that he is pushing APEX gear, he's a distributor for it.

Im really keen to get them though, after ive heard your personal experience sounds like uve had good run with them. :D

how much did u get them for ? 300ish?? fitting?

oh and do u have stock wheels on your car or aftermarket rims? Ive got stock wheels....
A pic of your car would be great!
