Man Jono.....
Try this link: http://www.knfilters.com/clningins.htm

It's very similar, you can even use the K&N Special Oil to do it, unless you can find some Apexi stuff...

mmmmmm, 8O
The Apexi Power Intake is a maintenance-free dry-type air filter and will alleviate the problem of filter oil from "wet" air cleaners interfering with the air-flow meter
I thought you are not sposed to oil Apexi filters, just washing it should be fine.

But again, I am a newbie..... :)

Hmm, I take that back, I believe you are correct.... yes, indeed Jono's filter is a paper based filter that doesn't need oiling, well in that case just wash it!

HKS claim that their High Performance Air Filter Systems offer the ultimate in both air filtration and air flow for maximum engine performance. The elements use a special oil to stop unwanted dirt particles from passing through the multi-layer polyurethane filter. Filters are thrown away when their lifetime has expired and are replaced with new filters, which are inexpensive and easy to replace.
