i think i need all my belts changed .. they are all making noises and cracking ... dose anyone know were i can get them changed in melbourne and how much it will cost ... my macanic said i would be looking around 500 bucks... :( is it relly that expensive? .... he said my timing belt is about to die.. so yeah... anyone know were i can get the belts? or any advice? thanks

yeah? have u had them changed before? how much would i be looking at?
im kinda tight on oney atm... just got a 400 phone bill :? and a ticket for talking on the phone...

The actual timing belt costs about 200 dollars and it takes about 3.5 hours to change it. 500 dollars seems a decent price for the job. If the belt does break you'll have a very expensive bill :twisted:

you can get them for about 140.00 these days...

It may be cheaper for me to buy them from Oz that in the UK :twisted: Over here it costs £79 which equates to $202
