Hey all, it's been a while...
Anyways, as the subject says the old FTO won't start. When I turn the key all I hear is a click and the voltage meter on the dash goes down slightly. And every now and then I will hear a noise from under the dash somewhere and it will make a loud buzzing sound when turning the key. I did get it to start a couple of weeks ago and when I did, I pulled the negative terminal off of the battery so I know it's not the alternator, the battery is also brand new and charged. Have I overlooked the basics or does someone know what's going on? Starter motor? TIA

Re: Won't start
Starter motor. Tap it a few times with a hammer (smack it) might work once or twice but solenoid is probably stuck.
Time for a new one.
