Its not worth it. It will only come back and bite you on the butt eventually if you do. There is nothing wrong with trying to clean the car up a bit before selling it to get a better price, but dont misrepresent things like mileage. Apart from the fact that these things are recorded to a degree these days (so you can get caught out and fined), its a really crappy thing to do to someone you dont know.

Anyway, takes balls to apologise, so well done for that.

If you are going to the trouble of replacing an engine, and fixing yours... What is the point of selling to buy a GPvR?

Apart from them being a facelift, and a little lighter, essentially it is the same car ..
I just had to add it ......

      So...

Buy the gpvr, part it out, and use his current car to make a track weapon?

      Nice.

      Meanwhile.
Yeah, I agree with Craig. no ultimate real point. (personally)

Wasnt suggesting he buy a GPvR, just that there is a little more difference than simply being lighter. Is a lot of money to pay for the extras though. Agree with above comments though. Now you have a GPX, you are probably better off sticking with it and trying to source LSD and suspension bits if it comes to that. There are plenty of other mods that you can do first that'll cost less and give you a better bang for your buck.

I did have that idea once...but then I realized..the only thing am short of the GPvR is lsd and the sway bars. Car already has the adjustable cusco strut bars...they are easy and cheap to find.

I would go buy a Wavetrac LSD put in the car which is better than the GPvR's lsd. Will cost me a thousand or so.

Sway bars... and control arms will just find them from Yahoo japan or wait for a wreck.

I love my folding mirrors and the digital AC...gives me +5 street cred :P

So I will never sell my car to buy a GPvR...i might buy a GPvR separately though as an extra car :)

        Don't be a pussy.

I have a black GPX, and I take care of it, 'coz I love my car. Look at rock_it's car.

Come over any time and point out a spec of mud/bird poo/crap on my car. I wash it every weekend. If I had a white/red/blue/pink I would have still taken care of it like the way I take care of the one I have now. Just because you will get a white GPvR or so won't change the fact that you are too lazy to take care of your car. Change yourself before changing your car.

There's tons of sh*t you can do to the GPX to make it a beast. The 30kgs or so you loose by not having a climate control... well..loose weight in your body. That will be cheaper than changing your car.

        /end rant.

its not because im lazy i wash my car every weekend as well but it gets dirty easily i'd wash it every third day if i could working full time doest allow me that luxury of time.

and as for gpvr i wanted it cause it was lighter to do project on to make it fast
