SA Meet Photos! (feat. 5 FTOs)

Post by bjk »

SO ho ho. Topped our record today, and would've been 6 if the weather had been less stupid and thus allowing Phil to join us. But another day! (might even get okamitengu and onbaggs along too). Had along myself, vipfto, Kiz, c3rbera, and even ObsidianRadio on short notice! We battled traffic lights and T junctions to make it to the hills, where we battled wet surfaces and slow drivers. And most of all, we battled the cold.

Warning: f*ck tonne of pictures. Figured I'd throw basically most of them up here in case people wanted to use them. Enjoy my amateurish photography.

That one of mine with the aerial...reminds me that I really need to disconnect that...somehow. I never need it. If anyone seeing this comment has a trick for disabling it, please feel free to tell me about it haha.

I was saying to Kiz over the radio, Lobethal rd needs some slow driver turnoffs like North East and even Gorge have.

It needs magical dragons which lift them away and take them to their doom.

Was a rather thrilling evening, cheers SA crew! sh*t like this helps me recover from the unfortunate recent events :) Glad Kiz messaged me half an hour beforehand, I almost forgot

Either dragons, or spring loaded catapults that launch them into a ravine!

I reckon if we're organised we can meet when there's moar daylight. Things were a bit iffy with plans today... yesterday, rather.

Just unplug it in the boot or unplug the switch. Shouldnt budge then. Either way, 5 minutes work.

It's nice to take pictures of cars that aren't mine for once.

Not shown in the photos is the fact it almost started raining, and was also pretty windy. Jack had to resort to warming his hands with a cheese and bacon roll before the cruise.

but Jack is soft as most aussies are, was nice cool boost weather except for wet roads which meant no traction haha

Good cruise though hopefully no rain next time and can get out during daylight

Got that one on video. Although you can't really hear it particularly well from the cabin. And like I suspected, the first video from when I mounted the GoPro on the spoiler is about 10% car park footage, and 90% the just the ass end and tail lights of my car when the camera swivelled because the hinge wasn't tight enough. :(

But during the day it will be better, and I might bump the quality to 1080p. (even though my laptop cannot even function 720p)
