Was driving to work the other day and got all the way to work and mum goes around the corner and it slipped out of drive and now it wont go back in...
The problem is it wont go into drive and the only way to drive it is to take the right plug (not the gear selector one) on the gearbox out so it gets stuck in third gear...
With the plug in the (N Light) stays on and does not go away when put into drive and does not go in
Reverse still works normally with the plug in or out
I have replaced the
input sensor
output sensor
Gearbox ECU
Engine ECU
Speedo Drive Sensor
ATF Fluid is in good condition (Red and Full)
Gear selector is not snapped and its working properly
Dunno what else it could be and its about to get punched in the dick!
$50 to whoever diagnoses or helps to diagnose it and i'm serious!

Could also be an issue with the wiring loom itself, if two wires have shorted somewhere inside the protective casing, it could be a pain in the ass to find.
I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

Re: 4spd Auto Gearbox pissing Sahin off
I have just been doing a bit of reading of the manual.
Workshop Manual 1 - section 23 - page 32.
Inspection procedure 12 - Some shifting points displaced.
If some of the shift points are displaced while driving, the cause is probably the malfuction of the valve body.
Pic taken from the Workshop Manual - Engine and Transmission I'm not saying that this is your issue, but you have changed everything externally so you would have to think that this is an internal issue.
Read the 2 manuals I have quoted and decide for yourself.
Go ahead and check all fuses and wiring first, but if you get to another dead end then......

Did you ground pin 1 of the diagnostic connector? This will give you a specific fault.
Changing what you changed doesn't even half take care of the probable fault codes with the transmission!

Sounds like it could be the valve body to me but it could also be wiring
