Broken studs

Looked in my engine bay and saw the studs connecting the driver's side mount to the bracket on the engine were broken. Can I drill and replace?

Easier to replace the mount - dstocks would have a few.

Yeah.. you probably could. Plenty of steel in that.

Could try using an Ez-Out to wind the broken studs out :!:

I will have a bracket?? Would it not be easier/quicker/cheaper/better to replace the bracket?

He's saying the studs connected to the bracket are broken, not the bracket itself.

    Get another bracket, I've yet to see someone without a lot of experience successfully get a stud out using a set of those things

    Well one studs out. WD40 penetrant thank you. Getting a bracket not so easy. If was an sr20 or rb I wouldn't even be typing right now.

    Ive got a few of those brackets.They arent that hard to come by

      Well studs replaced and back on the road. Extractor kit worked like a charm. Thanks guys.
