Re: EXTRACTORS
That isn't polished or painted. It is HPC coating, which is expensive.

It only says silver polished coating, but surely it's not $375 worth

Re: EXTRACTORS
Key word there, and to the left of where it says that, it says "HPC Coating"destinationtoby wrote:It only says silver polished coating
You could probably get them done a bit cheaper elsewhere, just check for somewhere in your area that does ceramic coating.destinationtoby wrote:but surely it's not $375 worth
Yep, just standard. Thinking of painting them with VHT Flameproof paint.destinationtoby wrote:Did u just get the standard (not coated)?

Re: EXTRACTORS
Wrapping them isn't such a good idea on a daily driver. Because when you drive in the wet, moisture gets trapped in between and causes the extractors to rust. I have seen a couple that have rusted all the way through.

Re: EXTRACTORS
Been installed on ours for well on 8 years, prior to our owning.
No coating and no holes.
They are made strong, so don't bother with the coating.
And we live 200m from the Paramatta River.

Re: EXTRACTORS
The only reason to get a coating is to make them look better. (Well the tiny part of the front ones you can see)
