central locking

Post by Retsub »

Hi all

Removed door trims to fit new splits when i noticed that this FTO does have central locking just doesnt work.
after investigation i am pretty sure the passenger door solenoid is cactus, get a clicking noise but no movement.
I could not find a DIY on this but i thought i would ask if there is one as my wife says i have male blindness. 8O

would anyone have a passenger solenoid or even the whole locking mech that i can procure for a reasonable some of cash.

Thanks in advance

Ive probably got one, but you are possibly be better off just buying a 2nd hand aftermarket central locking kit from Jaycar as the stock ones are weak and prone to problems.
