auto Trans issue

Post by topao »

My auto gearbox currently won't go into drive or +/- i can move the shifter into D but it won't pick it up it just stays on neutral. So i pulled in apart a bit and found if i pull the transmission cable forward it will then go into Drive. So im guessing i need to tighten the cable but don't know how?

This is all I could find. If it doesn't fix your issue you might have a stretched cable that needs replacement.
