How much for full veilside body kit?

Post by ebmp19 »

I was just wondering approximately how much would it cost to get a full veilside FTO body kit and have it installed?

would be easily over a thousand, a rough estimate
bar $420
Rear Bar $350
Skirts $290
Spoiler $376

total $1436

these prices are from carmate but i wouldnt purchase from them, fitment is a large issue with them.

your easily looking over 2k for a full kit with resprays.

my advice is try get secondhand veilside body kit parts in the colour of your car but you have to be pretty lucky!

You might as well put in the same amount of money for something of quality and with a better style

I have a Veilside front bumper, but you would spend more on repairing the cracks than what it's worth

the thing with a veilside kit, is that its fairly specific with the mounting holes, and almost no 2 are the same.
Theres a few pieces on ebay at the moment with a fairly cheap price if your dead-set on it.
(not form carmate)

I might need confirmation on this, but has Veilside actually shut down? A friend of mine said they've stopped production and have merged with Premier!

If that's the case, there's no chance of finding an original Veilside kit, only the fiberglass copies such as those on carmate!

The list goes on! Even the stock facelift bumpers look great if you get some lower springs etc, makes the profile of the car look great!

But if you're looking specifically for kits, look up these...

- Creative (http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/aero/crea ... index.html)
- D-cuatro (http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/aero/d-cuartro/index.html)
- Kaze (http://www.rhdjapan.com/aerocraft-kaze- ... -fto-59778)

OR of course hit up Dstocks, he's got himself a very purrrrdy kit ;)

I know I've missed a few but i'm tired

What are the others??

i can safely say we can take kaze out of the equation.
dont think anyone is willing to pay just over 10k for a full kit landed.
That and even at stock height the front bar sits on the ground basically

Lol... if I had 10K extra I'd probably get a different car rather than a body kit
