Where to Buy Poly Bushes?

Post by den0va »

Hey all,

I've only just started now to buy the things I need to upgrade my suspension, just went and bought KYB Excel G shocks all round and Lovell lowered springs. Now I am wondering where the best place would be to buy Poly Bushes for my control arms and sway bars, I searched and read that you can get them from the UK or something along those lines but is there anywhere that sells them locally here in Australia?

Obviously not... I only hop on here every now and then :P But I don't think I wanna wait a month though, any alternative? My cars coming closer to the 150,000K mark and want to get it fully serviced plus suspension upgrade at the same time it's out of action in the shop...

SuperPro already make most of the bushes. The only ones they don't make are two in the rear.

Yep, I use all Superpro: http://www.superpro.com.au/find-superpr ... Search+Now

All available through Fulcrum: http://www.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/

Alternatively you can use Nolathane: http://www.nolathane.com.au/do_segue.ph ... le=1994-99

Available through Red Ranger: http://www.redranger.com.au/

They're also distributed through most auto outlets like Auto One etc as an order in product.

My understanding is that the rear bushes have only the main rear arm bushes and the sway bar ones I'm wanting the dog bone ones and some other all up 6 each side and getting all polyurethane one and they will be distributed nation wide and easier to find
gotta get there one day :)

They already do exist mate, no point reinventing the wheel ;)

Gotta remember, the ass end of our car is the same as a CE Lancer...

SPF2110K are the dog bone top links: http://www.superpro.com.au/find-superpr ... d=SPF2110K

SPF1573 are the ones for the other end: http://www.superpro.com.au/find-superpr ... d=SPF1573K

I'll have to dig up my notes from when I did it a few years back. There are only 2 dog bones per side, but there the same bushes are also used in control arm / trailing arms joins & there's also a different solid bush on the inner ends of the trailing arms.

I'll get back to you tonight.

They're about $220 for all 4 plus postage from the US.

 no, there are no dog bones on the front, only on the rear. As Ben said approx $220 is the price for a full set of 4 for the rear.
