Does anyone know why my FTO 95 gpx keeps cutting
Off at 6100 rpm I've just put a reconditioned engine in it , I've put my old alternator back I cause someone said it could be it , I've double checked the oil levels, reset the computer , checked all the terminals and still it cuts off in every gear at 6100 revs and the engine is warmed up fine SOME BODY PLEASE HELP ??

Yes ^ but the other thread is titled wrong. Needs different information - its rev cutting, not valve bouncing.
I fix cars.

Temp sensor that sends to the ECU most likely then.

I don't want to ask the obvious, but have you checked the error codes?

Always the place to start if it's hard to diagnose.

Sorry guys I'm new to this and didn't know how to edit the other post just thought if put up this one as its not valve bouncing its engine cut off :( and from what I can gather its the sensor I need to check which involes pulling apart the top half of the engine a big job indeed
