Sump Plug Washer

Post by RT »

What size is the washer that fits into the sump plug?
Would it matter if I use copper washer?

just do what i do...
go into an autobahn or whatever, forget what size the washer is and buy a pack of 'various size sump plug washers'.....costs a couple of bucks but saves me remembering the size every time :)

and i wouldnt imagine a copper one would work as well because it wouldnt compress, but i may be wrong

just go ask for the washer for the CE Lancer. I did an oil change and it came with the filter for the CE Lancer - which is the same for the FTO. Part number : AW347631 - thats for the filter and washer, just ask for the washer - think from memory its $1.05 You could also try repco or something and use that number or Ryco Part Z411. Hope that helps.
