Overheating on highway

Well my car gets hot when driving on the highway

or at high speeds.
Not leaking any water and I have just flushed the radiator, new cap, and a new thermostat,,,
Problem is still there

????
Hope it's a easy fix

No milky stuff under oil cap, so hope not

when idling it goes to about half but the thermos keep bring it bac down
when driving about 60ks temp gauge is just below half,
Any thing above 60ks and it rises slowly

If I slow down the temp will then com bac down to??
Both fans r kiking in at half way, but my aircon is not working (not cold) and when switched on it does not turn on the thermo fan, could this have any thing to do with it??
Will be checking the water pump tomorrow,
And omg it Betta not be the head gasket

What does your radiator look like? If it's losing a lot of its fins it won't be able to cope with the extra strain on it at high revs. Cheapest option so far I think

Well my radiator has a small dint in it

But not leaking at all?
But befor I replace my radiator I'm wondering if it might be my heater core?
It's not leaking, but the heater is not getting very hot. Like I set it to 32c and the car gets warmer but the heater does not get warmer?? when i turn it down say 28-29 it stays same temp,Does this mean heater core?? And could this have any thing to do with the overheating problem?? or just replace radiator, because of small dint?

O and my aircon don't work( it's not cold) and I noticed when I turn it on no thermos kik in??

Any help is appreciated

The cheapest option here is the free one.
To rule the radiator out if it is the radiator is to nick someone elses one for a half day and test it out, if your car still overheats you know it isnt the radiator, if it doesn't, it is and is a relatively easy fix, as im sure dwayne can hook you up and its simple to replace.

Well I drove it again tonight,, strangely though my heater worked really good and when the heater was on it did not get hot!! Stayed at about half

Maybe time for a mechanic

Thats because the hot water that would normally have been getting stopped up in your clogged radiator, was able to flow through the heater matrix instead, which while heating the inside of the car, also acts as a radiator.

As above, time for either a new radiator or give this one a hardcore flush. I have a spare if you want to test the theory, its all of a 20min job to swap them out.
