Anyone know which body kit this is?

Post by Technikhaus »

As above, found this FTO for sale in town, it's a GPX.
I'm not too sure about engine condition etc, as I've only had a look at the outside, but will organise to have a test drive later this week.

But I have never seen this body kit before? it's a but damaged at the front, not too sure if i'd remove that or repair it though. It's a pretty good price $3000 NZD, but it does need some work done on the interior.

here's some pics of the body kit.

A sh*t one

Seriously though I guess it's a budget thing, this just looks like a bolt/stick on over the top of the standard front and rear bar. The front bar is standard pre facelift just with this bodykit lower section (lip if you like) added on.

Looks OK though but does look a bit cheap. It's obvious it's just stuck on over the top.

yea, I'm not a big fan of the kit, and I think I'd be ripping off that front skirt, as you can see it is damaged already.
I was just curious as I haven't seen it before, I already have plans for a whole new kit from dstocks

haha yeah if I was to buy it I'd be ripping it off too

No kit looks much better than that kit imo.

Dstocks kit looks the goods though :)

Didn't say it was cheap sh*t ;)

Said it looks cheap. And it does. But imo it also looks sh*t

Anything that looks 'stuck on over the top' which this does, is almost always going to look cheap. And in my opinion if that's all you can afford you're better off sticking with stock, as stock looks much better than this kit.

It is not DC..

I was just meaning that they do similar kits.. In reference to stick on lips looking cheap..

I like the DC lips.. But I do prefer a blended kit rather than the lip style..

Im loving the spoiler holes thats been filled in with off color gromits, the ridiculous bolt hole or whatever it is meant to be style pattern around the edge of the rims, the stuck on moulds everywhere aaaaannnnd... the CANNON! lmao
But for 3000 you might be able to get it up to standard for under 5k

The front bar and the body kit components look a different color white as well.

yea, a can of spray paint should fix the holes in the boot, and the body kit looked all right colour in person, could just be the pics.
the wheels i'd like to replace with a set of these :)

The car will end up matte black :p
