Jap import vs Australian specs
MY knowledge is that an fto imported from japan (Jap specs) is better than an fto with australian specs. Although i have been told that with certain cars such as rx7 australian specs are preferred over jap imports. Any thoughts?

Re: Jap import vs Australian specs
There is no 'Australian spec' FTO as far as im aware, it was never dealer delivered in Australia, you had to pretty much import one yourself back in the day which was pretty tricky.
The only thing i can think of what Aus spec could be is when it is imported it has to be stock standard, however again this wouldnt change anything to an 'Aus spec'
Perhaps clarify a little more if i am missing the point here, otherwise the answer is nothing, as there is no 'Aus spec'
Hope that helps

To throw a spanner in here, the Aus FTO weighs more.
10points to whoever figures this one out.

Hmm, any chance fitting a wine barrel if we were to remove the rear seat?Eltnot wrote:Crap, mine doesn't have that upgrade. Where can I get it installed? At the bonfire?Bennoz wrote:Because Aus spec ones have kegs in them
