Replacing aircon evaporator?

Post by HostileSmoker »

I dont suppose anybody has a how-to guide for replacing the aircon evaporator do they?
I know it can be done through the glovebox space and am going to attempt this very soon but any tips would be usefull. :)

Cheers.

Must say I'm quite surprised this commonly changed in Oz?
Surely you guys use your aircon all the time? :?

Well I'll write a how-to guide up on my site once I've finished the job... :)

Honestly, I haven't heard it being done before =)

Hell I didn't even know it was located there before you said so =)

How bizarre!

Well I changed mine last night, a lot of garages insist on removing the dash to get to it but it's not necessary and this would save quite a bit of labour time...

Getting it re-gassed today / tomorrow so will post up a how-to once it's all working again. :)
