I'm thinking

Post by aza013 »

Ok this is in this area as it's just in the thinking stages at this time.
EOI :-
I'm thinking of selling my FTO and starting all over again :?
So what I'm asking is if there is any one out there interested in it and what they would pay for it?
I will add info up about the car if there is any one that has not seen or read any thing about it.
There is some things that need doing on it, it will need new suspension ( still factory ones in it) not right away but soon, back bushes maybe, rear mail seal needs replacing small oil leak from it. Back tyres will need changing as they have gone bad :( .
I think that's it

Any way feel free to add feedback on it.

Oh and add realistic prices for it thanks :) .

Edit: front bar has a scrap on it but that will be fixed soon.

    Starting over with another FTO?

I'd personally say keep it, you have one of the lower mileage engines around.
    These cars aren't getting younger.

 well if I sell I will be getting another FTO cheap one that the body is in great shape, engine can be shot as that will be ripped out 4G63T put in.
Full Dstocks body kit on it  and lots more.
I just feel that I need to start over but I'm not a 100% on it at this point  .

    Hmmm, fair enough.

Are there many/ any good body condition examples around at this point in time that you'd say yes too?
I only ask as they are few and far between.

You know everything that's been done to this car.

For a price....... hard to say.
I'd be thinking 10K isn't a bad price for that car, however it does have a custom paint job, and also these cars have trouble aiming for that price these days...

Well the car has done 130'793K's engine would be aprox 50'000K's.

Yeah exactly, not many cars with the exception of Kaz's would have that sort of engine mileage.

Why because I love the look and all that makes the FTO that is why :D .
As for the Honda well they are good cars but they just don't do it for me :? .
The only other car I would think about would be a supra.

Is the reason you want to sell in regards to what we spoke about at the bonfire?

If so, then I can see your point of view, but if not, then you're simply buying the unknown again.

What apart from what we spoke of would you do differently to warrant replacing it?

Either take the engine out and put in the mirage, and 4G63t the Panda...

    Or

Piss off the Panda, and start again..

I have been thinking of selling mine as well as of late.. But wouldn't take anything less then 12k... I would suggest you ask for the same, if not more...
I just had to add it ......
