The missus wants to play music at the beach this year and her birthday is coming.
I'm thinking something like this might be good.
http://www.amazon.com/Extreme-Rugged-Wa ... _e_title_0
We don't have an ipod/iphone so I'd be using my spare Android phone until I get around to getting some kind of mp3 player.
The thing is, that I can't get this shipped to Oz. The ebay ones are really expensive if they are already in Oz or Cost twice as much to be shipped from the US.
Does anyone have an alternative?
It needs to be sand and water proof (beach proof) and have reasonable sound but I don't want the whole of Bondi being able to hear it either. Her birthday is next week so if there is a shop or somewhere in Oz that I can get it, that'd be best.
Cheers.

Re: Beach stereo/speakers
There are companies in the USA that recieve goods and then ship them to Australia, like http://www.shipito.com/ and http://www.priceusa.com.au/
I haven't used them myself but I hear good things about them. They cost a bit extra, but still a lot cheaper than thann buying here

LED ALL the things.

Cheers, but I don't have enough time to get it here. It might have to be a Christmas present if I can't find one in the shops.
