Hey keep blowing the 40a Fuse for the headlights(number 14 on the 'fuse box translation' in fto help) and when tested 1 side of the fuse is + and 1 is - and reads a whole 12 volts. i have dismantled the fuse box and cut the wire right after the terminal (the 1 thats got - volt running through it is from the headlight half of the circuit.
i think that there must be a relay after the fuse because the fuse is live all the time regardless of if the healights are on or off. the red and white wire that goes from the fusebox to the relay maybe if there is one and then to the headlights runs str8 down in a big loom after it leavs the fusebox.
so where is this relay if there is 1? ive taken all the relays out in the fuse box with a multimeter hooked up (posative constant and negative(which shouldent have anything running through it with the fuse out) and voltage stays the same so its not that.
What else can i do/test?

haha i knew some1 would laugh at it. ive got an extra earth strap to a strut tower nut with heavy gauge wire. surley that hasnt got anything to do with negative power somewhere where it shouldent be right? maybe the relay if there is 1 is screwed. i can bypass factory wiring but then headlights will be on all the time unless i find where the relay is or whats causing the problem

for the relay check theres no + or - voltage through the relay socket through 1 and 3 but there is continuity between 1 and 5
What should i do from here?

i blew my voltage meter and clock and all my interior lights, while i was installing a new cd player. and i found out there was a wire loose behind the cd player touching the metal parts. after that i just taped it up with electric tape and job done. maybe its the case, maybe its not. just thought i'd let u know, it happened to me and if there ever comes a time u think theres nothing it could be, just have a look.
