Arranging tyre range

Post by lal »

I know this has been kind of touched on before, but was never really done.

I'm interested in finding out the order (low range to top of the range) tyres each (or most common) tyre brands we use.

When I'm looking for mags with tyre package I want to make sure the $$$ I'm paying for is actually a good deal.. mags and good set of tyres.. I don't want to think I got a good buy $$$ but actually it wasn't that good as they made up the money by giving me cheaper tyres... another reason i want to know is so that I can maybe bargain for an upgrade on the tyre range...

Eg.
Falkens, has the following range,
Ziex 326
Ziex 512
Falken ST115
Falken RT215
FAlken GRB 451

can someone please. confirm if that is the order of lowest to highest in the FAlken range?

SImilar info on other tyre brands like GoodYear, Bridgestone, Pirelli etc.. maybe helpful to others who is looking to replace/buy new tyres.

thanks.

we are currently negotiating with a tyre company in sydney, if you can wait a couple of weeks before purchasing tyres we should be able to get you a club discount
