'Sorry' sign to ease road rage

Post by Theremin »

Suggestions please on how this might be implemented on the FTO.

'Sorry' sign to ease road rage
June 1, 2004

CARS could be fitted with "I'm sorry" lights or signs in a bid to reduce road rage in Victoria.

A parliamentary inquiry into road rage will consider apology signs to prevent communication breakdowns on the road.

"It has been proposed that cars be fitted with some kind of mechanism, such as a light or sign, that can be activated by a driver when they wish to apologise for their actions," a discussion paper released by the Drugs and Crime Prevention Committee stated.

Car insurer AAMI's survey of 1600 drivers in 2003 found nine out of them had been road rage victims.

How about a foghorn from a Spirit class cruise ship?

Or a fireworks launcher on the roof?

2000 Watt spotlights on front and rear?

Why not an "I'm sorry" Oil Slick? :)

it's OK to use the middle finger as long as you write the words "I'm sorry" on it

Just get a custom plate... OOPS SORRY

Or write SORRY on the back window. Then cut everyone off! :)

lol.... I think I'd prefer some sort of rocket launcher....james bond style...

are they serious - on the basis of less than 1% (0.5625%)..... there is no way under all thats holy that I would put anything like that on my girl!!! :P

and Robb - maybe you should just print out your avatar and stick that up in the back window - that should give enough warning
