APEXI VS BLITZ CAT BACK SYSTEMS

Post by DarkRain »

Hi Guys

I am thinking of changing my exhaust to one of the above systems. Which one is better in terms of material, performance, sound etc. Some reviews or feedback from owners of these systems wil be most helpful. Thanks.

personally for the money your better off getting a custom system built for your car to your specifications...

the APEXI systems are pretty poorly built imho

Thank you for your reply.

So what specifications should I be looking at? Or how about getting the mufflers and tips only and with custom pipes? Is this a good option?

Max $1,500 with installation. If can do around $1,000 even better.

for 1000-1500 you can do a full custom setup to your specifications including a highflow CAT, it really comes down to do you want stainless, titanium, mild steel, combination of these.

which state are you in so that we can recommend a few places to you

I recomend that you use a X force muffler with a good resonator and get a reputable exhaust place to make up stainless steel pipes. The muffler should set you back about $150-200, the piping: $250-350, the resonator: $100 - 150 and the hi flow cat is about $200-250. This works out to be less than a grand (at the highest price) plus it will be much quiter than the japanese brands. I personally have the titanium muffler but have not fit it on yet.
