I didn't get my car when I was 17 because I didn't get me parents to buy it for me.

I'm 20 now, got a full time job and I still ain't got my FTO. Starting to look for one now though.

Got mine when i was 17 and 11 months, and no my parents did not pay for it, and no i did finish school in year 12, and yes i am currently working at telstra casual *but get like 40 hours a week grr* and hopefully doing uni at night soon, and no car is not financed, paid cash.. and yeah, just had an accident, so its off the road for another month.

Well if you parents didn't buy your cars for you then I congratulate u blokes. You worked hard for your car and you earned it.

THe parents comment was really only meant as a joke any way, but I do know of a few people who have cars that their parents bought for em (they have a Rex, 200, Skyline and a Silvia I believe).

Well talk about spoilt brats, i know 6 & 9 yrs who been given 4 houses!!! Now thats real spoilt. Mind u each house worth around $700k each!!

I don't envy them, cause i know i can survive in the real world(I can truely say this as i was a former street kid), & if i start with nothing, i've got nothing 2 lose!!
