Re: 1996 GPX Scissor doors full kit and sound system
The car is worth more than a normal FTO with all the mods, a value of 10-15k is a lot to lose if you write it off...silverGPX wrote:Sif you would go full comp on an FTO
That being said, surely you shouldn't be paying 3k a year? Who are you with? For full comp I get quoted 1800 with Just Cars

Re: 1996 GPX Scissor doors full kit and sound system
What would you QLD's know about insurance for us in NSW..??
Age, driving record, and where the kid has the car "garaged" are what drives the price.. I have seen young people charges 5k for full comp..
And why wouldn't u want to fully insure your car? I have fully insured all my vehicles since I was 17... It is just to be safe.. Mind due there were not as many options back then to make a policy cheaper (like fire and theft only).. So I only bought what I could afford to insure..
How many people do u see have to fix their FTO on the cheap, or part it out cause they didn't have full comp.. Sif u wouldn't insure the FTO...
Now can we stop spamming the thread and let him sell his car..

My car has been garaged on a raaf base for the last year. 370z isn't more expensive because it is a newer car also it is stockfully awesome.

Re: 1996 GPX Scissor doors full kit and sound system
Ok more details on what's been done to the car! aha
AB bonnet will be getting put on and painted.
New tyres all round.
Fixed an a/c problem which cost 800 to get properly fixed. No idea what was wrong but my dad got it sorted.
(i'm deployed at WA atm for top secret raaf work haha)
I'm still interested in selling it though.
Looking at s2000 now haha

Hate the looks with 2 fangs at the mouth and the eyes basically shaped like emoticons >.<
Same goes to the taillights >.<
Totally spoiled the fairlady's beauty. Still prefer 350z looks.
Being said that, it's no slow car. Definitely faster than its' predecessor and s2000.
