whiteline = koni ??
hi all
i was just wondering how sure you are that whiteline rebrand koni shocks for their adjustables...
because according to a quote that i received from an australian supplier of koni adjustables, the whitelines are slightly cheaper....not by much...we're talking about $50 on the whole 4...but its still a saving...
oh and btw...i thought you might like to know the part numbers of the koni's....its taken me ages to find them
front right: 8741-1396RSPORT
front left: 8741-1396LSPORT
rear: 80-2714SPORT

Hey all,
I'm also in the midst of getting the Konis adjustable shocks.
For the people that have these, how do you find them, in terms of ride comfort, handling, and also if they altered the height of your car in anyway?
Simon, are the part numbers you quoted definately the correct ones? Because I was told slightly different numbers for the fronts. ie 8740-1396
Also, did you get the Konis progressive bump stops with them?
I originally planned to get Bilsteins as well. But currently they won't do one-off orders. Minimum order of 20 required from Germany. Bummer! I've been liasing with the peeps at Sydney Shock Absorbers who is a major Australia Bilstein distributor and fit/service. Excellent people to deal with though.

Hey G1.G1 wrote:hey dave, are you getting the rear set as well? if so, I might go in with your order if i can...
Yeah I'm going to get the full set. I've got the price at work so I'll PM you them tomorrow morning hopefully, for the rears. Hopefully, I can bargain with the dude and get us an overall lower price.
Do you want them fitted as well? How are your KYB adjustable fronts holding up? Are they the AGX ones?
Time frame I'll looking at getting them is the week after next (Week beginning 25/10).
BTW, the place I'm going to get them (and fitted) are from these guys:

yeah i fitted mine a while ago.... no qualms at all... just make sure you adjust the rears to a setting that you know you'll like cos to adjust them you have to take the struts out... which isnt that hard... but a pain in the neckD-TRAIN wrote: Thanks Simon.
