steering problem :s

Post by spency »

Kind of have a problem with my steering after a cruise this morning. After taking evasive action to avoid ass ending another driver due to something on the road, my steering seemed to be playing up a little for the rest of the day.

While I slammed on the brakes, I pulled the car off to the left, just enough so I'd miss the car infront of me, I was on the brakes very hard so I'm just thinking, the force on the steering rack/arms/bushes could've been pretty big.

Now when I drive along straight roads, I can feel the car being pulled over the road, and as I correct it, the wheels just want to do their own thing, it's pretty f**king sketchy at times. Also what I've noticed is, when I "shake" the car now, there seems to be a bit of a delay, I guess you could call it, from when I turn the steering wheel, to when the wheels decide to do something, if you know what I'm saying.

If anybody could share any ideas what it may be, would be much appreciated.

You may have thrown your alignment out. Id go to your local tire place and get it checked.

getting an alignment done early next week, droplinks/swaybar would be the next replaced if issue isn't resolved.

have you got spare parts, dwayne?
