Auto Accessories store at Waterloo Sydney

Post by Richy »

Hi guys....

I have just opened an auto accessories store at Waterloo, Sydney - near Moore Park Supacentre, right next to Sydney City Toyota / Lexus - only 10mins from the city.

We sell mostly japanese car care products, fresheners, and interior accessories .... with brands like Napolex, Carmate, Carall, Soft99 etc.

We are currently having an opening special of 15% off on everything for a few weeks ... but fellow FTO club members will have 15% off all year round.

So drop by anytime, and I will see you guys there..... (already met a club member at the shop...)

Cheers

Good luck with it mate.

Looks like some win! The journey from the outer west would cancel out the discount though...

I've been there twice! got a couple of car fragrances for my mates and a Broadway wide rear view mirror. very comprehensive range Jap car accessories.
Also for those who are into using rainX during rainy days. He have a jap version of it and and looks heaps cool!

Thanks Russell for the comments...

Apparently, Soft99 is a jap company specialised in car care products..... so quality assured.

With opening times, we haven't got fixed opening times yet. But so far, our trial opening times are between 11.30am and 7.30pm Mon - Friday, and from 12.30pm to 7pm Sat, Sun.

Hope to see you guys there...

Hi Bduffman... drop by anytime, mate. Also where is your company at... I preferred somewhere close...

it was great. i got one from singapore previously and havent finished yet. So i have not bought from Richard.
Now i know where to buy ;)

It works pretty much the same as rainX, but Jap made. and its heaps easier to apply on the windscreen as it has a applicator built-in.
But there are a few things to take note.
It works better at higher speed. e.g. 60km/hr and above to really see its effect. you dont even need to use wipers when you hit 90 and above. So it is particularly useful for drivers who often hit the highway.

But unlike RainX, Soft99 have a higher end product which starts repelling from 35km/h so it should be good for city driving too.

Since it requires wind turbulence to work effectively, it does not work as well at the rear screen than the front. But it still performs better than not applying anything.

hmm...it might be useful for trackies as it can be an advantage when you have clearer views than the others.

wow... thanks Russell.... you are doing all the talking for me...

weired... I subscribed to this thread thinking I would receive email notification with any new post... but didn't get anything....

bduffman, with the rain repellant, I tried the one "Material of USA, packaged in china" .... It works from around 60-70km/hr. But the Soft99 one claims to work from 45km/hr... so I will give it a try once the current one finish..

Soft99 has another one for side mirrors, it claims to work at 0km/hr (make sense cos the side mirrors don't get much wind turbulence at all...) which I haven't tried yet.... too many things to try....
