no power at all!!!!!!!!!!

Post by aza013 »

OK I went to start the car to put it away for the night, turned the key every thing started (dash, fuel pump and so on) then every thing went dead :?

I have checked battery full charge, all fuses are fine, battery leads are fine, battery cut off switch is on.
I have even tried to bypass the battery cut off switch but still nothing.
The only other thing I think it could be is alarm kill switch's, but I can't even work the alarm :?

Any one have any other ideas?

It has to be either a fuse or your alarm then if the battery is fine. What do you mean you can't use the alarm?

I've got a jump start kit that I could give you a jump with to see if that helps. Where are you?

Its the alarm. Same thing happened to me last month. Youll need to get the alarm cut out or repaired.

I reckon it's bad earth. Twist your battery terminals around a bit & check the neg earth lead grounding.

Well after ripping 1/2 the car apart checking every thing I moved the earth lead off the strut tower to a new spot and what do you know the car is alive
Battery side of things was fine, alarm was not a problem.

 @ Ben you are right again  but I only seen your post after I fixed the problem.
