Visual changes on the forum
Hi Guys,
using this thread for some proper constructive criticism, no jumping on bandwagons and disliking it because you're afraid of change.
What changes would you like to see to the forum? So far this is currently on the list:
- Finish of web banner
- Change all of the forum icons
- Tweak fonts etc.
- Restore quick reply
Would anyone like a different color scheme compared to the white / gray / red? I might change a lot of the grays to darker blacks
As said, keep it under control.
Cheers

Re: Visual changes on the forum
umm id like a dark background so it doesnt hurt my nerdy eyes lol, and change of the banner car every month.
Possibly, for the banner thing people could post up pictures of their cars in that same angle as the black one currently there and use them.

Re: Visual changes on the forum
If people are willing to take photos of their cars at that angle (with a decent background to cut it out with) I would most definitely welcome it.
Won't be having a dark background, the style of dark forums just doesn't suit a club like this

Re: Visual changes on the forum
doesnt have to be dark, just as an option in the user control panel maybe, just set it light as default.
Overall i cant pick any problems with the site, everything is set out pretty well and its fast and efficient. especially the view new posts button.

Re: Visual changes on the forum
Well the final layout will be similar to this. But when I get some more free time I could also create a separate dark theme

Re: Visual changes on the forum
can we move all the options when posting replys to somewhere else
e.g
the disable bbcode
disable smilies
do not automatically parse urls.
if a write a length response on my phone this blocks it out and i cant read what im writing

Can do that in your account settings, websites like these aren't designed for phones lolbrad_gpx wrote:can we move all the options when posting replys to somewhere else

Re: Visual changes on the forum
Move the edit button away from the quote button so when stupid mods want quote somebody they don't accidentally edit their post instead

Re: Visual changes on the forum
The Avatar has nothing to do with the style I do
Have you tried re-uploading the image? That fixed it for me.
I'll see if I can implement a return to top
