Seals

Ok, I've spotted a leak over the weekend and just jacked up the car to identify where it's coming from. My rear main seal looks like it will need to be replaced as there's quite a bit of oil mess around that area and no oil to be seen anywhere else.

Where's the cheapest place I can purachase the seals? Preferably locally (australia) as I do like to receive things as fast as possible but if the discount is worth it, I'd be happy to purchase from anywhere.

ok rear main on the FTO is actually passenger side where gearbox bolts up

If you getting a leak at rear of motor most likely to be from rocker cover gasket or can be from oil filter/block where it can drip down and trail along crossmember to rear of motor and drip down. OR from cam seals

Best bet is to clean up under motor and then run car for a while to be able to trace leak back from there

Geez everything is starting to go crazy on the car.

And something else which is weird which only occurs every now and then....
When I accelerate hard from 2nd then into third, when i let out the clutch and put the foot down there is a small bang noise which feels like it comes from right under my legs and it's as thought he gears slip or something and the revs drop, then it's like it catches back on and accelerates. Only happens maybe every 1 time out of 10.
Ideas on possible problem?
