want a cheap strutbrace????? hows $95.00 sound?

If you're in NZ you might want to try Kempys, the brace is a little more expensive but it might work out a little cheaper by the time you include overseas freight and duties etc.

I have front and rear strut braces from Kempy's. Service was excellent, and quality of the product seems very good. I have had no problems at all. Don't forget strut braces are a trade off between better handling and firmer (bumpier) ride/extra weight.

The strut braces are for rigidity....
It doesn't matter about the bumpiness at all....
Just because you put a strut brace on it doesn't make the car more or less bumpier than what it was before....
But when you go around the corners, you will feel a hell of a difference...

Therefore, it is actually quite important that you get a good quality braces because some flexes a bit and when that happens, obviously you are not going to get a very good turn out of it....although you think the material tis strong and won't flex....it may under heavy load like around corners...

But either way, I am after a rear one.....

i will get price for shipping to NZ over the weekend.

it will cost more to send with the CAI kit, and will be sent sperately...

shipping to most cities is $40.00 (TAS included)

There are only 10 of the Stainless ones at the moment. if you want one you better order quickly (send me an email confirmation of your intent to buy one).

Rear's are not available yet as we haven't gotten around to them.

If you have my bank account details already you can go and pay straight into it just make sure you put your details in the comment fields.

Yes it will, but it doesn't fit exactly properly, it will fit over your brake cylinder & air-con condenser, which will make it hard to service your car yourself, if you don't have the right tools.

the CAI kits are being packaged up and shipped this week and next... the Strut Braces will happen shortly after that.

FYI: The way we work with these buys is

* offer made to the club members
* some members accept
* members start depositing money
* all monies received
* stephen transfer's money to UAS with a manifest of who has ordered what and delivery / pickup information.
* kits are made ready and shipped out.

some people have asked why i handle it all the money (which if you ever ask me is a complete pain in the arse)? the reason is, if i do as much of the work as possible it doesn't cost UAS anything in man power so they can keep the pricing as low as possible.

I'm not sure I agree with this, but I'd be interested to know what others think. Maybe Ruchi can work through the logic of this one for us?

there could be a slight (and i mean tiny) decrease in the dampening action of the suspension as it can not flex in a sideways movement...

i haven't been able to tell the difference in my car however my suspension is already pretty tight so i feel pretty much everything already.
