Ok all you iFags with your iPhones, download Dynolicious, calibrate it, chuck it into your car dock, find a safe location and record how quickly your car can reach the speed limit.

For starters, I'll post up my appalling performance
As you can see it fell out of the dock a bit after the change into second gear, but you get the idea. Test was completed in 38 degree heat back in January with a full tank of fuel and one passenger, but I don't think I can get too much quicker out of poor the old girl in stock form anyway

For those who are having trouble reading it,
- Yellow line shows KW's atw. 75kw recorded
- Blue line shows G's. Max .55 achieved.
- Red line shows speed and acceleration.

i got a bit excited and went 45km/h over the limit :s road was wet so i had a bit of wheel spin high up.

0-100 = 7.96 sec (had to wait for lights to go green)

wow really???

AT the 8 second mark he is STILL accelarting. It not till around 8.5 that there is no longer acceleration and the curve flatens off.

One question for you all, have you got a true weight of your cars to enter into the setup?
If not the it's not a true test also if you have it set up right it starts timing and all that as soon as you hit the power so there would be no down time.

Yeah, I would suggest you do a rerun spency because you should not have the delay like that. Recording should only start as soon as the car moves. Also need to make sure you calibrate it on a flat surface in similar temperature conditions to the run as the accelerometer is temp sensitive. iPhone also needs to be standing upright with it's back to the front and any movement will throw out power and g force readings so the dock needs to be secure.
Aza is also right about the weight. Unless you have exact weight of the car (+ people, fuel,wheels, stereo, luggage etc) the power readings will be out. Luckily we can leave the drivetrain loss fields blank to get an ATW figure.

I know the car has only come out once for a drive in the last week and a half since I got it back from the work shop.
