SYD: Half cuts galore!!

Post by Shane001 »

Hi Guys,

Thought I'd share this little find with you all :D

Anyone looking for parts give Chris at Engine Specialist Warehouse a call.
214 Toongabbie Road Girraween - 9896 6406

Currently they have 2x GPX halfcuts & 1x GR(?) halfcut as well as lots of other bits and pieces including panels etc. One of the halfcuts has an aftermarket front bar with the facelift indicators.
Pretty good on price as well.

No there's nothing in it for me :(

Though if you do call him, please let him know that you heard about them from Shane with the FTO race car. Never know he might give me a discount next time I need some parts ;)

Good find! Right near me too :)

They got some good stuff listed there, including a set of teins & one of the GPX half cuts has an ARC intake chamber...

Cheap cheap ;)

They're the same as the ones I currently have on the racecar, so these are now my spares.

Will probably sell my stockies now lol!

Is that the air intake in u're second pic?

Is this just the cold air intake or does it include throttle body / manifod?

Damn, had me all excited then for a minute when u said 'intake chamber'. Thought it might be an upgrade to the throttle body / intake plenum... Probably a good thing though, was also depressing as I've just spent my motorsport budget for the next year, again lol!

may as well just go the gpx front cut, that way you have what u want, then fix the body, which is easy.

Yeah she's all tuned up, last reading was just shy of 250 killer wasps at the front wheels.

Back in a week or 2 for the happy gas tune which should put it well over 300, but need to go tyre shopping first.
Was even wheel spinning on the dyno last time :x Had to put it on the dyno, deflate the tyres, strap it down as hard as
possible, then reinflate the tyres. Even then, we had to get 2 fat guys to sit on the quarters when we did it!
