Front indicator replacement Q

Post by FTO84 »

Gidday.

I have, in the space of a month, had both my left and right front indicators die. Have purchased replacement bulbs on the weekend, but then encountered a problem - how do I remove the front fog light assembley to replace them? There seems to be one screw holding it all on, but when I turn it, it just turns without actually coming out (as in the screw housing just turns with it) and it's not something that pliers or anything can reach to hold it. It's pre-facelift

Am I missing something amaizngly obvious and am a complete car noob (highly likely  )... or? Can take some shots tonight and post if it helps. :?:

Thanks, Kev

ther is two screws actually but you need only undo the one closest to side of car.

just remove fully then with a bit manouvering the whole pod will come free and out then just disconnect wiring connectors and replace bulb, real easy ;)

Sounds like the screw is cross threaded. If you can pull on the light while screwing it, you may be able to work it out, otherwise, itll be bar out of car im afraid.

Just go in from the wheel arch, might have to loosen the splashguard though.
